Sun West
Ranch Welcomes New Ranch Managers
Shared-ranch
in southwestern Montana adds experienced Montana natives to its team
Cameron, Mont., (November
16, 2006) ¾ Sun West
Ranch, a unique shared-ranch community
in southwestern Montana, welcomes
Chuck and Sandra Hull as new ranch
managers. The Hulls provide full-service
management of the 2,000-acre property,
including general and financial management,
homeowner services, sales, marketing,
and year-round property-owner support.
Sun West Ranch offers three miles
of private Madison River access along
with breathtaking views of the Madison
Valley, Gravelly Mountain Range,
Madison Mountain Range, Continental
Divide and miles of horseback riding
on the property and in Beaverhead
National Forest.
Both Montana natives, the Hulls
most recently moved from Laurel, Mont.
and bring years of professional experience
to Sun West Ranch. Chuck is in charge
of general and financial management
for Madison Valley Properties and
the Sun West Ranch Homeowners Association.
In addition, he is working with state
and local government on planning and
development projects including obtaining
permits for the final development
phase at the Ranch.
Prior to joining Sun West Ranch,
Chuck was the vice president of finance
and chief financial officer for Montana
Silversmiths Company. He also participated
in the development of a gold mining
operation in South Dakota and then
moved into manufacturing and marketing
roles with Landstrom’s Black
Hills Gold Company. He earned his
way through college by working on
fire suppression and as a smoke jumper
for the United States Forest Service.
Chuck spent his early career with
the Anaconda Minerals Company and
Atlantic Richfield Company working
in various states throughout the West.
Sandra, who has had a successful
career in residential and commercial
real estate, manages the sales and
marketing duties at the Ranch. Sandra
had a busy summer giving Ranch tours
and getting acquainted with Sun West
Ranch homeowners and community real-estate
brokers. In addition to her real-estate
experience, Sandra has managed two
businesses owned by the Hulls — a
floral shop in Butte, Mont. and a
dinner club in Spearfish, S.D.
“Ranch management at Sun West
Ranch is a 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week
job,” said Ted Gildred, who
is Sun West Ranch’s developer
along with his wife, Heidi. “We
have a responsibility to our homeowners,
the community, and the land to be
great stewards. Because Chuck and
Sandra both grew up on ranches in
Montana, they are passionate about
preserving the ranch lifestyle and
know what is involved. This, combined
with their stellar work experience,
gives me full confidence in their
abilities to run the Ranch.”
“Sun West is such a
unique development, not only in its
beauty but also in its dedication
to preserving the landscape and history
of the area,” said Sandra Hull.
This dedication resonates with Ted,
Heidi and all of the homeowners here
at Sun West Ranch. Chuck and I are
excited to be part of such a progressive,
distinctive development.”
About Sun West Ranch
Sun West Ranch is a shared-ranch
community in a highly sought-after
area of southwestern Montana. A vast
2,000 acres, the Ranch offers three
miles of private Madison River access
and features phenomenal views of
the Madison Valley, Gravelly Mountain
Range, Beaverhead National Forest,
Madison Mountain Range and the Continental
Divide.
Sun West Ranch is the antithesis
of a “typical development.” From
its active community outreach to its
public stand on conservation and preservation,
Sun West Ranch strives not to just
simply develop a new community, but
to preserve a thousands-of-years-old
legacy and ranching way of life for
generations to come.
Sun West’s most recent dedication
to the community is shown in the creation
of Project Giveback, an initiative
to help raise $1 million toward building
a new hospital in Ennis. Sun West
Ranch developers Ted and Heidi Gildred
pledged $500,000 to be matched by
the community. For more information,
