Yellowstone National Park

Sun West Ranch is in close proximity to one of our great national treasures, Yellowstone National Park, established in 1872 as the country's very first national park.

Though 91 percent of the Park is within Wyoming, Yellowstone is very closely associated with Montana, since most Park visitors come through Montana or fly into Bozeman. It's also indelibly linked in the national consciousness with wildlife, thermal features—the Park has more than 10,000, including Old Faithful—and truly spectacular scenery. There's infinitely more to know and explore in Yellowstone—particularly if you get off the main roads and hike in even a short distance.

Fish in famous Yellowstone waters at the designated places and feel like you just stepped off the cover of a coffee-table book. Pick up a fishing license for the Park at the entrance gate—it's free, but you must have one if you're wetting a line there. They'll also give you a fishing regulations guide.
